Moving South is a Dream Come True

When I had the opportunity to move south for my work, I grabbed at it quickly. I was born and raised in Florida, but I had been living in New York since I graduated from college. Even though I had been there for nearly ten years, I still felt like a fish out of the water, especially in the winter months. While the job wasn’t taking me nearly as far as Florida, South Carolina was definitely a lot closer than the Big Apple. I went online to look at Park at Boulder Creek apartments after doing some research on the rental properties in Columbia.

I was torn between renting a house or getting an apartment, but it was not long before I knew that apartment living was definitely the way to go. I had been living in a small apartment in New York City that cost me a few thousand dollars a month, so seeing the large apartments at a fraction of the cost that I was paying before is what actually sold me. I didn’t even have a closet in my former apartment, so the large walk in closets in the apartments at Park at Boulder Creek were extremely appealing.

There are so many things that it has going for it other than the size and price. I used to hate going down three flights of stairs to do my laundry, so seeing that there are washer and dryer hookups in each apartment was wonderful to see. I looked at the floor plans and knew that I would be happy there, and the amenities that they offer are hard to believe. They really want the tenants there to know that it is home to each one of them, and I knew that I would be feeling that way myself before long.
